Anthony Edwards has proposition for Micah Parsons as Timberwolves take Game 4 against Mavericks
The Minnesota Timberwolves took Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals on Tuesday night in front of several members of the Dallas Cowboys. Linebacker Micah Parsons and cornerback Trevon Diggs had front row seats to the 105-100 win for the Timberwolves who now need three more wins to earn the conference title. After the game, former first-overall draft pick Anthony Edwards had a proposition for Parsons, who is a fellow Adidas-sponsored athlete.
Reporters heard Edwards confidently telling Parsons that he’d see him for Game 6 back in the American Airlines Center after taking care of business in Game 5 back home on Thursday night. Not only that, he told the Cowboys star he’d have a gift for him, too.
“Micah Parsons, you know, he was rocking the AE1’s and I told him, he wear a size 14, I’ll bring him back some nice shoes for Game 6. That’s what I told him,” Edwards said after the game.
Parsons, who is a big fan of Edwards if his tweets are any indication, had to post on social media about his interaction with the Minnesota star and assure fans he’s on Team Dallas all the way. He often takes heat on social media for supporting teams outside of the DFW sphere, like the 76ers and the Celtics.
“Hold up yall realize im an Addidas athlete right?!” the linebacker posted on X. “I was there when we closed out against okc!!”

Parsons supporting Team Adidas
Parsons signed a multi-year deal with adidas earlier this month. The news came as Parsons announced he also agreed to become the president of Bleacher Report’s Gridiron content team.
“Since day one, I’ve wanted to be a global ambassador for the game, inspiring the next generation of athletes and fans around the world,” Parsons said in adidas’ news release. “It’s very clear to me that adidas is best aligned with my ambitions and career goals. The three stripes has already done so much for me and I know that this is going to be special.”
In Tuesday night’s win, Edwards led the Timberwolves with 29 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists. He was 11-for-25 shooting and 5-for-8 from the free-throw line. He’ll hit the court again on Thursday night at the Mavericks travel to Minnesota for Game 5. Tip-off is at 8:30 p.m. ET on TNT.
