Arian Foster shreds NFL: 'They pretend to give a s*** about their players'
Former NFL running back Arian Foster isn’t holding back on his criticism on the league. He called out the NFL in a recent podcast episode for not caring about the players.
In a recent episode of the Macrodosing podcast, Foster shredded the NFL for saying they “pretend” to care about their players. But he says there’s plenty of evidence to suggest that’s not actually the case.
“The NFL is continually reactive and not proactive. And they pretend to give a s*** about their players,” Foster said. “And that’s what bothered me so much. They pretend to give a f*** and they do not give a f***, and if you did give a f*** you would be proactive.”
Foster also indicated that the NFL “hid” studies regarding concussions from the players. He also said there’s an insane level of greed running throughout the league (shocking, we know).
“They literally hid concussion studies,” he said. “They just do everything in their power to get every last dollar they can. And that’s American business, that’s capitalism at its finest. But these are the repercussions of it — you’ve got disgruntled workers.”
Foster spent eight years in the NFL, playing for the Houston Texans (2009-15) and Miami Dolphins (2016). He was a four-time Pro Bowl selection and led the NFL in rushing yards in 2010.
NFL DB doesn’t hold back on Philadelphia fans
While we’re on the subject of players going scorched earth … can we interest you in some comments made by former Philadelphia Eagles safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson? It includes a pretty harsh bashing of Eagles fans.

Recently, someone paid $5 for Gardner-Johnson to answer his question while playing online video games. The question? What was the worst part about his one season (2022) in Phialdelphia?
Gardner-Johnson didn’t hold back.
“The people,” Gardner-Johnson responded. “They’re f***ing obnoxious. I f***ing can’t stand the f***ers.”
Tell us how you really feel.
Gardner-Johnson played a big role in Philadelphia in 2022, leading the NFL with six interceptions in 12 regular season contests. He helped the Eagles reach Super Bowl LVII and was a critical piece of the defense.
Gardner-Johnson also accounted for 67 tackles and eight passes defended in his lone season in Philadelphia.
However, his on-field success didn’t result in a return to Philly — and maybe now we know why. In March, the safety was signed by the Detroit Lions to a one-year contract worth $8 million.
