The cameras once again captured Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray expressing his frustration on the sideline on Sunday in Week 9 as his squad struggled versus the Seahawks.

During the Cardinals’ win over the Saints two weeks ago, the cameras caught Murray animatedly yelling at head coach Kliff Kingsbury. This time, they got footage of the former Sooner hashing things out with top wideout DeAndre Hopkins.

Despite the duo connecting for a touchdown early in the game, Murray clearly felt something was amiss between them as they trailed 10-7. Hopkins has four catches on five targets for 36 yards and a score after the first half. Murray is 15-for-20 with 105 passing yards and another 53 rushing yards.

Shortly after his outburst, the former Heisman coughed up the football for a Seahawks takeaway as he scrambled up the field.

Murray’s frustration shows as Cardinals struggle

Ironically, last week’s tiff with Kingsbury was allegedly about the head coach’s hot head and Hopkins was the player that intervened between the two.

“He said I didn’t look good on TV, acting that fiery,” Kingsbury said about the Week 8 incident.

“Both of those guys want to win,” Hopkins shared. “I love to see that. Honestly, I love being a part of two people that are dedicated and that focused on winning. Obviously, you’re going to butt heads. I’m not married, but from what I hear, that’s like a marriage.”

The Cardinals have a 3-5 record so far this season and they’re 1-1 since the return of Hopkins to the lineup. In his first two appearances back this season, he racked up 22 catches on 27 targets for 262 yards and a touchdown. He missed the first six games of the season due to a suspension for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy.

Win or lose, Murray and Hopkins will undoubtedly get questions from reporters about their sideline squabbles. However, the pair is likely to chalk it up as typical teammate talk.
