Army vs. Notre Dame odds: Early point spread updated for Shamrock Series, How to Watch
An intriguing Top-25 matchup awaits in Week 13. Notre Dame and Army will square off at Yankee Stadium, and the early point spread has been updated.
The Fighting Irish are now 16.5-point favorites over the Black Knights, according to FanDuel. The over-under also opened at 44.5 total points.
The matchup is part of Notre Dame’s “Shamrock Series,” which is why Yankee Stadium is hosting. Marcus Freeman’s group is in the midst of an impressive run, including a 35-14 victory over Virginia to make it eight wins in a row. That puts the Fighting Irish not only in position for the College Football Playoff, but also to potentially host a game.
Army, meanwhile, was idle in Week 12. But even with the bye, the Black Knights secured a spot in the American Athletic Conference Championship after Navy lost. That means it will be Army vs. Tulane for the AAC title – a matchup that could turn into a CFP play-in game, depending on what happens in the Mountain West.
Army and Notre Dame will kick off Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. ET. Here’s how to watch the neutral-site matchup at Yankee Stadium.

Notre Dame has put together a best-case scenario response to a Week 2 loss to Northern Illinois. Marcus Freeman continues to praise his team’s mindset, and it’s safe to say the fighting Irish will approach the Army game as they did the Virginia matchup.
“Every game, this game’s the Super Bowl,” Freeman said. “No matter if we were in the Playoff hunt or not. It’s the same mindset we have. You get 12 of these guaranteed opportunities.
“I told the team in the locker room, we’re guaranteed one more opportunity here in Notre Dame Stadium for these seniors. To think about anything other than that, you’re doing this game a disservice. They work 300 days a year for 12 guaranteed opportunities no matter if this game determines if we make the playoffs or not.”
