Austin Dillon announces birth of daughter Blaize
This has been quite the week for Austin Dillon. Fights for a top-10 in the Coca-Cola 600 on Monday and then his daughter Blaize was born on Wednesday. It just doesn’t stop when you’re a NASCAR driver. Life is always coming at you 190+ MPH at a time. Dillon seems to be excited to welcome his second child into the world.
Austin Dillon and his wife Whitney (Ward) already had one child before the birth of Blaize. Now, young Ace is a big brother! The family made an announcement earlier this year that Whiteny was pregnant. Now the Dillon crew has officially gained a new member.
Of course, fans may know Whitney from her cheerleading career in the NFL. Quite the talented family when it comes to high-level sports.
“Praise God,” Dillon shared on Twitter. Top-10 on Sunday. Bbaby Blaize on Wednesday. Her mother is an absolute Champ. God’s timing is special. Thank you Lord for bringing Blaize into our lives.”
The Richard Childress family welcomes another great-grandbaby now that Blaize is here. I’m sure that Austin Dillon is happy his daughter didn’t decide to come on a Sunday, that’s for sure.

Austin Dillon from dad to driver
As far as paternity leave is concerned, Austin Dillon and other NASCAR drivers know that life on the road never ends. Racing never really ends, either. With a 37-week schedule, things are busy, to say the least. Dillon is moving on from that top-10 finish at Charlotte and will have to focus on St. Louis.
These drivers and their families live from race track to race track. It would be quite a time to turn his season around. Dillon hasn’t been bad, but he hasn’t really done anything worth writing home about. His top-10 finish could do a lot to boost his confidence moving forward.
Last year in the first-ever Cup Series race at WWT Raceway (Gateway), Austin Dillon finished P15. He is definitely going to look to improve that result. This track is one that drivers seemed to enjoy last season. That might produce some strong performances.
While Dillon and his family celebrate the birth of Blaize, they will have to turn their attention to the racetrack pretty quickly.
