WATCH: Austin Rivers, Mo Bamba among players ejected after NBA brawl
Austin Rivers and Mo Bamba were among five players ejected following a fight in Friday night’s Orlando Magic vs. Minnesota Timberwolves game. The incident occurred in the third quarter of the matchup.
Rivers wound up by the Orlando bench at one point, and that’s when things started between the two. Bamba actually came off the bench as it all got started.
Rivers, Bamba along with three other players — Jalen Suggs, Jaden McDaniels and Taurean Prince — all got ejected as a result of the ensuing scuffle.
At the time of the incident, Orlando led Minnesota 83-73. It’s the second time this season the Magic were involved in a fight after a previous incident in December saw Moe Wagner, Killian Hayes and Hamdiou Diallo get into one during Orlando’s game against the Detroit Pistons.

Wagner and Hayes scrambled for a loose ball near the Pistons bench near the end of the second quarter of the Dec. 28 matchup. The ball rolled out of bounds and that’s when things go wild. Wagner decided to give Hayes a hard shove into the Detroit bench. A melee then ensued with multiple players from each team being involved.

Wagner then got pushed into the Pistons bench by Detroit’s Hamidou Diallo, and that’s when Hayes decided to take a mild punch at the back of Wagner’s head. All three players were eventually ejected for their involvement in the melee.
Both benches were cleared in the fight and the teams eventually had to be separated. Several players from Orlando left their bench area, which is likely to result in suspensions per league rules. Both coaches helped to de-escalate the situation from getting worse than it did.
Following a lengthy review, Wagner — a former Michigan star — received a flagrant two foul, which resulted in an ejection. Hayes and Diallo were also ejected.
