The Baltimore Ravens will be without quarterback Lamar Jackson for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears due to illness, according to CBS Sports’ Josina Anderson.

Coming into Sunday’s game listed as questionable to play, Jackson will now officially be sidelined while his team takes on the Bears. Anderson reported that Jackson is “not doing well enough to play.” With the quarterback out, the Ravens are expected to start Tyler Huntley.

Jackson, in his fourth NFL season after a dominant collegiate career at Louisville, has thrown for 2,447 yards and 14 touchdowns with eight interceptions this season. He’s also rushed for 639 yards and two more scores.

Huntley will be making his first career start on Sunday in Jackson’s place. The former Utah quarterback has completed 5-of-11 passes for 39 yards in two appearances in 2021.

Baltimore and Chicago are set to kickoff at 1 p.m. ET at Soldier Field in Chicago.

Carolina Panthers reveal inactive players vs. Washington Football Team

The Carolina Panthers have announced their list of inactive players for Sunday’s game against the Washington Football Team. Carolina is pretty healthy entering the game, with only one player carrying an injury designation.

QB Matt Barkley, WR Shi Smith, S Kenny Robinson, CB Rashaan Melvin, DT Phil Hoskins.

Cornerback Stantley Thomas-Oliver was the only Panthers player to carry an injury designation into the weekend. He has been dealing with a toe injury that forced him to be inactive for Carolina’s previous two games. Thomas-Oliver was estimated as a limited participant in the Panthers’ Friday walkthrough.

Defensive ends Marquis Haynes Sr (foot) and Yetur Gross-Matos (ankle), corner Rashaan Melvin (hand) and linebacker Frankie Luvu (shoulder) were all listed on the Panthers injury report but did not carry an injury designation into the weekend. All but Melvin avoided the inactive list for the Panthers against Washington.

Haynes didn’t practice on Wednesday but was a full participant on Thursday and Friday. Luvu was limited on Wednesday before also being a full participant Thursday and Friday. Melvin was a full participant all week while Gross-Matos didn’t appear on the injury report until Friday, although he was listed as a full participant.

The Panthers activated veteran offensive guard John Miller ahead of Sunday’s game. Miller has missed four games due to COVID-19 and then an ankle injury. Washington’s most notable absence will be wide receiver Curtis Samuel.
