Odds for Virginia Tech vs. Baylor

Virginia Tech is currently a 3.5 point favorite over Baylor, according to DraftKings. The over-under for the game is set at 135 points.

As for the money line, Virginia Tech is a -170 favorite. Picking Baylor on the money line pays out at +142.

Virginia Tech is looking to go on a run in the NCAA Tournament, despite being without star player Elizabeth Kitley. The three-time ACC Player of the Year suffered a torn ACL late in the season and is out for the year. Kitley started and played in 29 games for Virginia Tech this season, averaging 34.3 minutes per contest, to go along with 22.8 points and 11.4 rebounds.

Kitley is the team leader in points per game, rebounds, and blocks. At six feet six inches, she is a force in the paint that very few squads have had an answer for.

In terms of replacing her scoring, Virginia Tech has just one other player, guard Georgia Amoore, who is a consistent scorer for the team. Her 19.2 points per game are the second-best for the Hokies this season.

The Hokies struggled in the ACC Tournament without Kitley, winning a close game against Miami, before getting blown out by Notre Dame. However, they looked much better in the first game of the NCAA tourney against Marshall.

Matilda Ekh led the way for VT against the Thundering Herd with 21 points.

As for Baylor, the Bears lost 67-62 to Iowa State in the Big 12 tournament, before coming out ready to play against Vanderbilt in the NCAA tourney. Bella Fontleroy led the way for Baylor in the opening game of the tourney with 19 points.
