Betting odds released for 49ers to win Super Bowl, George Kittle kisses Taylor Swift
Thanks to Taylor Swift’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, there are a whole slew of prop bets involving the Grammy Award-winning artist at this year’s Super Bowl. Fans can bet on an on-field proposal from Kelce, or if the Super Bowl LVIII MVP will mention her name in his victory speech, but now you can even bet on Swift shifting allegiances.
Sportsbook Bovada is offering a wager with +100000 odds that following a win by the San Francisco 49ers, tight end George Kittle will kiss Taylor Swift. It’s a wild proposition but there’s very little oddsmakers won’t create props for this year.
The website is also offering +100000 odds that aliens will invade Las Vegas during the game and the game will end in a tie. That means that if you bet $100 and aliens do indeed invade Las Vegas and force the game to end in a tie, you will make $100,000. One potential complication of an alien invasion, in addition to the madness it would create, is that it could be hard to get paid out.
David Carr suggests Swift date Kittle over Kelce
Taylor Swift will be at Super Bowl LVIII to watch Travis Kelce, but she might leave with George Kittle instead, according to former Texans QB David Carr. Kittle led the NFL in receiving yards by a tight end with 1,020 yards compared to Kelce’s 984.
“I’m glad Taylor Swift is out of the country. Because if she sees George Kittle, she might rethink the tight end that she chose,” Carr said.

While her presence at Chiefs games and on NFL broadcasts may have drawn the ire of some fans, the viewership numbers, as well as the dollars and cents, prove Swift is a bona fide draw for the NFL.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, speaking with reporters in Las Vegas Monday, addressed the impact the pop music superstar has had on the league.
“Having the Taylor Swift effect is also positive,” Goodell said. “Both Travis and Taylor are wonderful young people, they seem very happy. She knows great entertainment, and I think that’s why she loves NFL football. I think it’s great to have her a part of it.
“Obviously, it creates a buzz [and invites] another group of young fans and young women who are interested in why she’s going to this game, why she is interested in this game. Besides Travis, she’s a football fan. And I think that’s great for us.”
