After a wild start to Week 14, Big Ten Championship is officially set. Oregon and Penn State will square off at Lucas Oil Stadium, and the early point spread has been released.

The Ducks opened as 3.5-point favorites over the Nittany Lions, according to FanDuel. The over-under also opened at 50.5.

Oregon secured its Big Ten Championship appearance ahead of its Week 13 bye after a conference review. The Ducks improved to 8-0 with a victory over Wisconsin, and the Big Ten looked at the tiebreaker scenarios before announcing they punched their ticket to Indianapolis in their first year in the league.

Penn State needed some help to get to the Big Ten Championship, and the Nittany Lions got it. Ohio State fell to Michigan in their annual rivalry game, meaning all PSU had to do was defeat Maryland to punch its ticket. They did just that, cruising past the Terrapins to set up the matchup against Oregon at Lucas Oil Stadium.

With Ohio State’s loss, Penn State needed to defeat Maryland to lock up a spot in the Big Ten Championship. A Nittany Lions loss would’ve opened the door for Indiana to steal a spot in the game.

But the PSU offense came through in a big way, cruising past Maryland to return to Lucas Oil Stadium for the first time since 2016.

The Nittany Lions rushing attack was in full force Saturday afternoon, led by 87 yards and two touchdowns from Nick Singleton to seal the victory. Quarterback Drew Allar was also efficient, completing 17 of 26 passes for 171 yards and a touchdown before Beau Pribula took over. Tyler Warren was once again his top target, hauling in six receptions for 68 yards and a touchdown.

Now, Penn State is heading back to the Big Ten Championship, where it will take on newcomer Oregon. It’s sure to be an interesting matchup in Indianapolis with both teams vying for a first-round bye in the new-look College Football Playoff.
