Bijan Robinson injury update: Atlanta Falcons RB added to Thursday injury report
The Atlanta Falcons added star running back Bijan Robinson to their injury report on Thursday, due to an issue with his hamstring. It’s the second time this season that he’s been added to the injury report on a Thursday. He played through presumably the same hamstring issue last week and still was able to get in a limited practice session on Thursday.
Robinson’s results this season have been far from what many people expected of him this year. In 2024, he’s got 67 carries for 285 yards and one touchdown. The former Texas star is averaging 4.3 yards per carry. As a receiver, Robinson has 18 catches for 151 yards. The hamstring injury news only further worsens his outlook.
The Falcons currently sit at 3-2 overall on the 2024 campaign. Their last game was a 36-30 overtime thriller over the Tampa Bay Bucs. Robinson had 12 carries for 61 yards in that one.
In 2023, Robinson racked up over 1,300 all-purpose yards and eight touchdowns, showcasing his ability as one of the best all-purpose backs in the league. He finished with 214 carries for 976 rushing yards and four touchdowns. As a receiver, he hauled in 58 catches for 487 yards and four touchdowns.
