Bill Belichick‘s boat got a new paint job, and it fueled more rumors about him and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson being engaged. TMZ Sports obtained images of the boat which used to be called “Eight Rings.” With the new paint job, the boat is now called “One Plus Eight Rings.”

It’s not been confirmed that the “One Plus” means the potential engagement/wedding ring for Jordon Hudson, but it comes at an interesting time since it’s been reported Hudson said that she and Bill Belichick are getting married.

In a story published by the New York Times, reporter Katherine Rosman said that Hudson, 24, has ”told at least one person that she and Mr. Belichick are engaged to be married.” The report came as HBO reportedly pulled the plug on a North Carolina Hard Knocks season because of Hudson.

“This winter, producers at NFL Films decided that a new season of its sports docuseries, ‘Hard Knocks,’ would focus on Mr. Belichick’s efforts to build the UNC football program ahead of the 2025 season,” Rosman wrote, via The Athletic‘s Stewart Mandel. “HBO agreed to air it. But days before they were set to announce the series, Ms. Hudson demanded she be granted content approval and partial ownership of the show, according to a person familiar with the deal who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized by producers to speak to a reporter. NFL Films pulled the plug.”

When did Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson began dating?

Belichick, 73, and Hudson were first romantically linked in 2023 but didn’t go public until June 2024. The couple made their red carpet debut in December at The Museum Gala.

In a recent appearance on The Pivot Podcast, Belichick explained Hudson’s role at North Carolina, and it’s not running the sports information department. “One of the first things that came out when North Carolina sent me emails saying, ‘These people want to talk to you…’ I sent back an email, ‘Can you please copy Jordon on these requests?’ so she could at least filter through them because there was nobody,” Belichick said, per CBS Sports.

“We didn’t have a sports information guy. Because all emails are shared publicly, that was taken as Jordon’s running the sports information department. And that also led to a narrative, which is just totally — she’s not doing it. I mean, there was nobody to help me sort it out, so I was asking her to do it.”
