Boomer Esiason alleges Tom Brady had hair transplant in Turkey
Boomer Esiason believes that Tom Brady received a hair transplant in Turkey five years ago. The former NFL quarterback made the allegation while appearing on WFAN Friday.
“I’ve been telling you about this since Tom Brady came back with a full head of hair,” Boomer Esiason told Gregg Giannotti and Jerry Recco, per Awful Announcing. “Which seems like five years ago.”
Brady has not commented on the situation, but his overall look has evolved since entering the NFL in 2000. One thing that has helped Brady play in the league from 2000-2022 is taking care of his body every day.
Back in September, Tom Brady spoke to Parade about the one piece of health advice he swears by. “I had so many hits that I took where there was an inflammation response in my body due to the hard workouts I was doing, so I didn’t want to add in more inflammation with the food I was eating. I knew it would create inflammation on top of inflammation,” he said. “That inflammation just stacks and stacks and stacks. So I still try to stay really hydrated and do my best to consume as little sugar as possible. It’s hard to do for sure because we travel a lot, but I’m very conscious about sugar intake.”

Tom Brady enjoys taking care of himself
Brady also revealed his favorite non-football-related workout. “I still run, although it’s more sprinting. I don’t like going for long runs, it doesn’t do well for my ankles or knees or hips,” he stated. “I always say running is good for your head and your heart, but for other things it’s not as great. But I think swimming for me is a great way for me to keep that hard, heavy load off your joints and still get a lot of resistance.”
If Brady received a hair transplant five years ago, that would mean he got it while still playing in the NFL. Brady was with the New England Patriots during the 2019 season but signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020. In his first season with the Buccaneers, Brady led the team to a Super Bowl title, defeating Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in the big game. He played in Tampa for two more seasons before announcing his retirement in 2023.
