Bowman Gray Stadium unveils incredible new LED light feature ahead of 2025 Clash
With NASCAR coming to town in a week, Bowman Gray Stadium has gone through a series of updates on the track and throughout the venue. The Cook Out Clash is going to be quite a show with the new lights, catchfence, and SAFER barrier.
Musco Lighting has been added by NASCAR to the stadium. This historic track has now been given a facelift for the 2025 season.
Bowman Gray Stadium looks different. The atmosphere is only going to be better with these updates. When the NASCAR Cup Series comes to town, those bleachers will be rocking.
Yes, this is a trend that stadiums have done for years now. It is still nice to see Bowman Gray get an update and it will make the Clash feel bigger on this quarter-mile track. Here’s a video from Chris Weaver.
Depending on how this Clash goes, Bowman Gray could get another year as the host. LA Coliseum served as the Clash venue for three years to mixed results thanks to weather.
However, is it time to start thinking about bringing it back to Daytona at this point? If not Daytona, perhaps a track like Las Vegas? I am excited for the Bowman Gray race, because I think the crowd will be pure NASCAR and drivers are going to get pissed off.
There is still a part of me that is thinking, this is great, but why not put this Next Gen car on its best platform? An intermediate track would be fantastic for a future Clash venue.

Bowman Gray Stadium will help launch NASCAR Channel
On Saturday as a support race, the modified drivers will take the track. The Cook Out Madhouse Classic is going to be a 125-lap feature with the best-modified racers at Bowman Gray.
NASCAR is launching a new 24/7 channel on Tubi. It is free for fans worried about another streaming bill. It will air new shows and classic races as well as the Madhouse Classic live on the NASCAR Channel on February 1. Bobby Labonte will be in the field. It’s going to be good, old-fashioned short-track racing.
Bowman Gray Stadium will be the focus for the weekend. The national eye will be turned to Winston-Salem. With the new updates to the track, the Madhouse is going to shine.
While Daytona is a few weeks away, we are almost back to racing. Bowman Gray Stadium is ready to kick the year off right and welcome NASCAR back.
