Brad Keselowski announces new family 'team member' due in November
Before the NASCAR Cup Series takes to the streets of Chicago for the Grant Park 220, Brad Keselowski had some special news to share. Already the proud father of two daughters, Keselowski and his wife are welcoming a new member of the family later this year. He’s going to have half a pit crew in his house soon enough.
Brad Keselowski is adding another “team member” as he put it. The NASCAR Cup Series champion continues to grow his family. When you’re a busy race car driver, family stuff can be hard to focus on. However, Keselowski seems to find a way to make time for it all.
This November, Keselowski will celebrate his offseason with a new addition. Championship or not, the RFK driver/owner will have plenty to celebrate this offseason.
Between driving each weekend, getting in the simulator, owning a race team, and all of his other duties – when does Brad Keselowski have time for a photoshoot? The NASCAR dad and his family look like they are through the roof to add another member to the group.
As for now, Keselowski has a street race in Chicago to attend to. He didn’t do too badly in qualifying but will have work to do on the wet track if he wants to make the most of the first-ever street race in Cup Series history.

A lot of work went into making this possible. Since the weekend started there has been a lot of extra work involved in this race as well. After frustrations and delays, it has finally come together. This race is going to happen, even if Mother Nature didn’t want it to.
Brad Keselowski prepared for Chicago
With the delays and holds that NASCAR has had this weekend, these drivers are ready to tackle this race. Brad Keselowski is going to start P20 and hopes to move up through the field. Rain is playing a factor in this race and Keselowski will have to work through the mist and keep his Ford Mustang off the wall, all while passing other cars.
As for Keselowski’s teammate and driver Chris Buescher, he was a little better in qualifying. Buescher is set to start P18 in his No. 17 Ford Mustang. The Fords as a whole did not have a great showing, but there were some spots of positivity. Michael McDowell, Jenson Button, and Joey Logano all made the top-10 in qualifying.
It is clear that the Toyotas have something good going for them in this race. Denny Hamlin and Tyler Reddick are on the front row. Martin Truex Jr. and Ty Gibbs are set to start on Row 6 side-by-side, just behind the top-10.
So, with a baby on the way, Brad Keselowski is set to take on the Chicago Street Race.
