Brad Keselowski was penalized and will have to move to the back of the pack at the beginning of Stage 2 at the Ambetter Health 400 after a mishap on pit road.

Keselowski attempted to leave his pit box before his fueler was done.

As a result, his fueler, Cody Osburn, was dragged forward a few feet while still holding the fueling apparatus, eventually running into the car in the next pit box before it popped off. You can watch it below.

Keselowski explained his mistake on the broadcast.

“Went a little too hard,” Keselowski said. “Took off more than I thought it would.”

His team responded in kind with a new strategy after the miscue, which will send Keselowski to the back of the pack as Stage 2 gets underway in earnest.

“Come back and fill it up,” his team said. “We got a penalty for the can leaving so let’s go top it off and we’ll start now.”

Kyle Busch irate after Carson Hocevar move

That first stage in Atlanta went by fast. While there wasn’t a wreck there was a lot of hard racing between drivers like Kyle Busch and Carson Hocevar. In fact, the two Chevy NASCAR teammates had a little bit of bad blood after that opening stint.

Carson Hocevar is a young, aggressive driver. Sounds a lot like a guy we all call Rowdy now. The Spire Motorsports driver came from deep in the field to find himself in the top-10 at the end of the stage.

Kyle Busch apparently didn’t take too kindly to Hocevar’s driving. HE threatened to wreck him on the radio when talking to his crew chief and spotter.

Check out the video with audio from Eric Estepp, host of Out of the Groove on YouTube.

And Kyle Busch let Carson Hocevar know how he felt, too.

“Go tell the 77 he’s done that same f*****g move 10 times,” Busch said. “I don’t care if I wreck the whole f*****g field, I’m over him. He’s a f*****g d*******g, I’m going to wreck his ass.”

Needless to say it’ll be interesting to see how both Keselowski and Busch handle things going forward.
