Brad Keselowski reveals why RFK, Rick Ware couldn't match Spire offer to Justin Haley
Justin Haley is jumping ship to Spire Motorsports with some help from Hendrick. So, why didn’t Brad Keselowski counter? The NASCAR driver-owner is closely involved with Rick Ware Racing since the team moved into the RFK Racing shop and formed a technical alliance.
When Justin Haley moved to Rick Ware Racing, it was seen as a strange move. But then the alliance with RFK became public. Then it started to make sense. This season, Haley earned RWR two top-10 finishes on non-drafting tracks, the first two ever.

If Rick Hendrick is as involved as it seems in this Haley to Spire deal, it makes sense. Brad Keselowski and Rick Ware just couldn’t match that kind of opportunity.
He also hinted at what that opportunity is, but didn’t go into too much detail.
“Justin had a career opportunity that wasn’t anything we could match,” Keselowski told Bob Pockrass of FOX Sports. “To be part of Rick Hendrick’s deal there and what that means for him after [20]25, that’s their announcement to have. Certainly everybody, I think, can respect and understand that.”
