Brandon Graham hypes Jalen Hurts during postgame interview following Super Bowl LIX: 'Tell em get off your back'

Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham had a message for Jalen Hurts as well as the rest of the country after winning Super Bowl LIX. As confetti rained down in the Caesars Superdome following a 40-22 Philadelphia win against the Kansas City Chiefs, Graham approached Hurts as he prepared for a postgame interview with FOX reporter Erin Andrews.
The pair embraced as Graham hyped up his teammate.
“I appreciate you!” he yelled. “Let ’em know. Let them boys know. Tell ’em to get off your back.”
Hurts was named the Super Bowl MVP after turning in a big performance in the win. He finished with 221 yards passing and two touchdowns to one interception in addition with 72 yards rushing and another score on the ground.
As for Graham, he is wrapping up his 15th year in the NFL, all of which have come with Philadelphia. This is the second Super Bowl he won with the franchise after also being a part of their title following the 2017 season.
Graham finished this year with 20 tackles, 3.5 sacks and a forced fumble. It’s unclear what the future holds for him beyond this season, but he clearly will have a lasting impact with the Eagles.
As for Hurts, this could only be the beginning. But for now, he’ll soak in the win and celebrate with his teammates over the next few days.

Kirk Herbstreit believes the Jalen Hurts story deserves to be made into a motion picture one day. The ESPN analyst has been watching Hurts since college and saw him win his first Super Bowl on Sunday.
“They should make a movie one day about Jalen Hurts career,” Herbstreit wrote. “Guy is 1st class and a true inspiration for so many! Congrats @Eagles.”

Those who have followed Hurts since college, such as Herbstreit, understand why his story is an inspiring one. He began his career at Alabama and led the Crimson Tide to an appearance in the national title game as a freshman before losing to Clemson.
After getting them back to the championship the following season against Georgia, Hurts was benched in the second half for Tua Tagovailoa, who would go on to lead Alabama to a win. He returned the following year but had lost his starting job and transferred to Oklahoma to finish out his senior season.
Hurst would have the best season of his college career in Norman as he threw for 3,851 yards and 32 touchdowns to only eight interceptions. He finished second in the Heisman voting and led OU to a College Football Playoff appearance.
That led to him being drafted in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft to the Eagles and taking over as starter by his second season. He led Philadelphia to the Super Bowl in the 2022 season but fell short against the Chiefs that time around.
Now he came full circle to return to the game and get his revenge against the very team that stopped him before. It certainly would make for a compelling script fit for the big screen.
