Brandon Jones and Menards will be returning to JR Motorsports in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2024.

The news was made official on Friday, as JR Motorsports released a press release, and took to Twitter to share a graphic. While Jones missed the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs in 2023, it’s evident the team believes in the driver for the foreseeable future.

Check out the graphic below, as Jones will officially return to the No. 9 Chevrolet for Dale Earnhardt Jr’s Xfinity squad.

“Both primary sponsor Menards and driver Brandon Jones will return to JR Motorsports’ No. 9 team for the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series, the organization confirmed today,” read the press release. “The 26-year-old Georgia native continues a multi-year relationship with the Eau Claire, Wis.-based home-improvement giant, which began in 2015.

“The partnership between Menards and JR Motorsports dates back to 2004, when team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr. raced co-branded Menards Chevrolets for Chance 2 Motorsports to three NXS victories over two seasons. Menards has been a fixture in NASCAR since 2003, and is active in all three of NASCAR’s national series.”

Additionally, Jones released a statement on the matter, and it’s obvious he can’t wait to continue racing for JR Motorsports moving forward.

“Competing for race wins and series championships alongside John Menard and Dale Earnhardt Jr. is a driver’s dream come true, especially since both have worked together with great success before,” said Jones, via a press release. “The partnership between the two organizations is top-notch and I am excited for the opportuning to continue that success.”

With longtime JR Motorsports driver Josh Berry taking his talents to the NASCAR Cup Series in 2024, moving to the No. 4 at Stewart-Haas Racing following the retirement of Kevin Harvick, a void is going to be left at JRM. Jones is hoping to help fill that, as he continues to evolve as a driver going forward.

In addition to Jones, JR Motorsports also inked teammate Sam Mayer to an extension for 2024 as well, providing the team with a stable of young, talented drivers that’ll hope to dominate the Xfinity Series for years to come.

Over the course of his NASCAR Xfinity Series career, Brandon Jones has accumulated five victories and 105 top ten finishes, while also adding eight poles to his resume. With his future secured, he’ll hope to continue adding to those stats with JR Motorsports moving forward in the Xfinity Series.
