Brenden 'Butterbean' Queen wins wreck-filled ARCA race at Daytona

A wreck-filled ARCA race at Daytona International Speedway ends with Brenden “Butterbean” Queen taking the checkered flag. From CARS Tour champion to a Daytona winner in his first full-time ARCA Menards Series season.
Is this Butterbean Queen’s win today his statement on the season? Is he sending a message that he is going to be the favorite for the championship? One would expect Butterbean to be great on the short tracks, but now he has a superspeedway win. Sky is the limit.
You won’t find anyone as grateful as Brenden “Butterbean” Queen in this moment. Pinnacle Racing Group starts off 2025 with another win. Helio Castroneves pushed Queen, his teammate, to the lead and ultimately the win.
“Oh my Lord, Bean Nation, baby! We brought the mullet to the ARCA series, baby,” he said on the frontstretch. “We going to the Waffle House tonight. But all glory to God, thank you for keeping us safe. I mean, I’m just a late model guy that worked hard to get this shot. I didn’t think this would be where the first win came but we’re going to take it.”
Pinnacle Racing Group put a lot of faith in Butterbean. He has already repaid them with a win. And you already know the Waffle House is going to be rocking tonight in Daytona.
“This group right here, they deserve this, baby,” Queen said after the win. “I had tough shoes to fill with … taking over from [Connor] Zilisch. But I hope this makes them happy that they signed me and I hope this is the first of many. … I don’t know. We’re going to Waffle House and we’re going to party it up and get some chocolate milk!”

Brenden ‘Butterbean’ Queen survives wild ARCA race
When it comes to ARCA races, this was one of them. Too many wrecks too soon in the race and then continuously for the entire 80 laps. The “big one” came on Lap 4 when Cody Dennison lost control of his car and wrecked much of the back half of the field.
Helio Castroneves was involved in multiple incidents on the track. Garrett Mitchell, AKA Cleetus McFarland, a popular YouTuber was in a couple of wrecks as well. By the end of this race there were more cars in the garage than on the track.
Somehow, someway, Brenden “Butterbean” Queen avoided it all. He stayed out front and didn’t get out of control. There were moments when he could have lost it and found himself among the wreckage. But he didn’t.
The CARS Tour is starting to produce a lot of great talent. Queen had raced only one time previously at any superspeedway. It did not go nearly as well as this race did. Today, in 2025, the 27-year-old is a winner at Daytona.
