From the heats to the qualifier, Brexton Busch has moved his way into the pole position for the Junior Sprint A-Main in the Tulsa Shootout. That Golden Driller is just within reach. His NASCAR champion dad is very proud of his son after this achievement.

With how many racers there are at the Tulsa Shootout, making an A-Main is a huge deal. It doesn’t matter what division you are in. Brexton Busch is taking a big step up with this pole award.

In his ServPro No. 18, the young Busch went from 4th to 1st in his qualifier. That gave him the boost to the pole position for Saturday’s A-Main.

Brexton Busch and his dad both won the track championship at Millbridge in their respective divisions in 2024. Now B-Rex, as they call him, is going to race for his first-ever Golden Driller. That’s a huge deal.

The young racer is hoping to make it two A-Mains with his restricted performance. This race week is just getting interesting, folks.

Kyle Busch is competing in multiple divisions this year as well at the Tulsa Shootout. He has a pair of heat wins. While Busch had no luck in the Cup Series in 2024, his skills in the micros have improved drastically.

These dirt racers get the chance to go up against a Cup champion who isn’t named Kyle Larson. That’s pretty awesome for the Shootout, dirt racing, and NASCAR.

Brexton Busch trying to outdo his dad

Every time Brexton Busch gets to race on dirt with his dad, he knows they are on more even footing than when it comes to pavement. When it comes to the stock car ranks, like a Bandelero car, dad is in charge. On dirt…Brexton has tips and tricks for his old man.

I think that you can see how much fun the whole Busch family is having. They are constantly racing but it is a family thing. Samantha and Lennix are always nearby cheering on Brexton and Kyle. What if the father-son duo walks away with a Golden Driller each?

It is remarkable how talented Brexton is at such a young age. Yes, he has the resources to race everywhere and has great equipment. But he has to actually do something with that equipment. Not every kid can do that.

Brexton Busch will have nothing but dirt in front of him in his Junior Sprint A-Main on Saturday. Is that Golden Driller going back to the Busch house in North Carolina?
