Brian Robinson injury: Commanders RB goes down with scary leg injury vs. Cowboys
Washington Commanders (7-4) running back Brian Robinson exited Sunday’s Week 12 home game against the Dallas Cowboys (3-7) after suffering an ankle injury in the first quarter.
Robinson’s right leg got rolled under Cowboys defensive lineman Osa Odighizuwa with what looked to be a serious injury. Robinson was able to walk off the field under his own power before heading to the locker room. Washington announced Robinson as questionable to return.

Brian Robinson avoids major injury vs. Cowboys
The 25-year-old is having his best season to date, rushing for 524 yards on a career-high 4.5 yards per carry, to go along with seven touchdowns. He’s added 10 receptions for 88 yards.
His return to the game is great news for the Commanders, who looked to have lost their starting tailback for at least the day. Instead, Robinson will look to help Washington snap a two-game skid and give the Cowboys their sixth consecutive defeat.
