In his first NFL game, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. has already made his presence felt and hauled in his first career touchdown against the Miami Dolphins.

On the play, Brian Thomas was able to find room in the back of the endzone and an excellent throw from quarterback Trevor Lawrence found him there. He was then able to get both feet in bounds for the score.

Perhaps the most impressive part of Brian Thomas’ first half in Miami was that he had clearly earned the respect of the Dolphins going into the game. Miami has had Jalen Ramsey, who the Dolphins just made the highest paid cornerback in the game following around the field, regardless of where Thomas has lined up.

Thomas came to the Jaguars as a first round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft out of LSU. In his rookie contract, Thomas earned a four-year deal worth $14.66 million with a $7.48 million signing bonus.
