The Masters is right around the corner. So close, in fact, that the players are already in Augusta and getting some practice rounds in before the annual showdown. And Brooks Koepka is having himself a day.

The former Florida State golfer took part in the Par 3 Contest on Wednesday. And he managed to knock in an ace on a beautiful shot off hole No. 6.

Brooks Koepka’s swing took the ball flight well past the pin. As it landed, for a brief moment it looked like it might plug.

Then it started rolling back. Slowly.

Eventually, the ball dribbled into the cup for his ace. And Koepka was absolutely all smiles. It was the third ace of the day during the Par 3 Contest. You can check it out below.

Brooks Koepka addresses possible PGA Tour return

Brooks Koepka was honest when he addressed his reported interest in returning to the PGA Tour last month. Koepka, among other big named golfers, joined the LIV Tour in June of 2022.

The split between PGA and LIV Tour golfers was a hot topic a few years ago, but has since subsided due to ongoing talks of a possible merger. While virtually nothing has happened, some outlets allegedly reported Koepka would want to return to the PGA Tour once his LIV contract is up.

Brooks Koepka didn’t know where that came from, other than Fred Couples saying this was a possibility. So just like it was news to us, the five-time major winner basically said he’d cross that bridge when he got there.

“Fred texted me after, I guess, the comments came out,” Koepka said. “I don’t know when it was, sometime last week. Yeah. I mean, everybody seems to have their own opinion. No one asked me. I mean, I talk to Fred quite a bit, but we don’t go too much into detail about what’s going on, like I’ve said it before. I’m not in those rooms.

“I’ve got a contract obligation out here to fulfill, and then we’ll see what happens. But I don’t know where I’m going, so I don’t know how everybody else does right now. I’m just focused on, how do I play better? How do I play better in the majors? How does this team win? And then we’ll figure out, you know, next year and how to play better again. It’s the same thing so, it’s just a revolving cycle but I’ve got nothing. Everybody else seems to know more than I do.”
