Browns defense reenacts Kai Cenat noodle game celebrating interception on MNF

The Cleveland Browns paid homage to Kai Cenat during the team’s Monday Night Football game against the Denver Broncos. In the second quarter Browns cornerback Greg Newsome intercepted a pass from Broncos rookie QB Bo Nix. Newsome and the Browns defense celebrated in the end zone by reenacting the noodle game created by Cenat.
Kai Cenat is a 22-year-old streamer and YouTuber who specializes in comedic live streams and videos. He recently broke the record for the highest subscriber count on Twitch during a nonstop live stream for the entire month of November.
Newsome, 24, enjoyed the Cenat noodle game celebration since it was his first interception of the season and the third of his career. The Browns selected Newsome at No. 26 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft and was named to the All-Rookie Team in his first season. In 2023, Newsome had the best season in his career, recording 49 tackles, two interceptions and 14 passes defended with one defensive touchdown.
The 2024 season has been challenging for the Browns. Quarterback Deshaun Watson is out of the year with an Achilles injury, and the Browns are in last place in the AFC North with a 3-8 record entering Monday’s game.

More on the Cleveland Browns’ 2024 season
Along with Newsome, the Browns defense is led by defensive end Myles Garrett who has 10 sacks through 11 games. Garett has recorded double-digit sacks in seven of his eight NFL seasons and is the reigning Defensive Player of the Year.
“I wanted to make it known that I’m the guy, I’m the No. 1 edge defender,” Garrett said, per the Associated Press. “Because part of my journey of being the best player that I can be is I think I can be the best player that there is currently. So I have to live up to those expectations I have for myself. That’s just on the road to be the player that I want to be.”
