Bryce Young gets emotional seeing his NFL locker for first time alongside parents
With the first pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers selected quarterback Bryce Young at Alabama. He’s expected to be the future of the franchise. At the same time, he’s clearly in the early stages of his lifelong dream.
It’s obvious how much this opportunity in the NFL matters to Young when videos like the one of him seeing his locker for the first time surface. In that video, alongside his parents, Young became emotional while looking on at his first NFL locker.
Watch Bryce Young get emotional while seeing his NFL locker for the first time, here:
In the video, Bryce Young is shown his locker, with his uniform already in it and Young becomes emotional, saying, “This is crazy.” He then turned around and has his parents check out the locker, starting with his mother.
There, alongside his parents, Young continues to explore his locker, getting more and more excited as the video goes on. His mother then told Young, “You did this,” only for Young to correct her, saying, “We.” To that, his mother agreed that “we” is more accurate but added that he’s the one who threw the touchdowns.
Carolina has already named Bryce Young the team’s starting quarterback. So, more than just the locker, it’s his team now.

Adam Thielen revealed what has stood out about Bryce Young
Bryce Young is already turning heads in Carolina, as excitement about his potential grows. One veteran wide receiver, Adam Thielen, explained what has been standing out the most about Young early in the practice schedule.
“There was so much talk about him so there’s not a whole lot of surprise. For me, it’s probably just been his movement in the pocket. His ability to get the ball out on time, but do that in a way that not just like sitting in one stagnant spot,” Thielen said last week during Panthers minicamp.
“Sometimes it can be easy in this time of the year, when you’re not getting hit, no pads on, nothing like that, to just sit there and no fear and just throw it around. But, you can tell [Young] practices like it’s a game. And, I’ve always been a firm believer that when you do that it make the games a lot easier, and that’s been really impressive.”
