It’s been an up-and-down season for Bubba Wallace in NASCAR, but he didn’t let that keep him from showing some good sportsmanship to Ryan Blaney after his win on Sunday at Pocono.

Wallace, who has had an interesting week following a much-publicized post-race incident at Chicago, made sure to work his way over to where Blaney was celebrating his win to offer him some congratulations.

Check it out below.

For Wallace, it’s a nice gesture after a week in which he was the subject of plenty of scrutiny in the sport.

Last weekend at Chicago, Wallace made headlines when he doored winner Alex Bowman during a cool-down lap right after Bowman had taken down his window netting and was in the middle of adjusting his visor.

The ensuing in-car footage showed Bowman was jolted unexpectedly, and he clearly wasn’t happy.

Bubba Wallace, of course, had been spun out earlier in the race by Bowman and he was showing his frustration after the race. Still, he admitted it wasn’t his best look, though he felt a sense of relief having been able to vent and speak with others after the incident.

“Did I time it wrong? Sure, 100%. His window net was down and his seat belts were off, not an ideal situation,” Wallace said this week. “You know, and it’s the guy you’re racing in the points, and then he goes on to win the race so it’s like icing on the cake, right? So, it’s just three or four slaps in the face when you’re working your ass off to be better for the team, just ripped away. Not that I’m justifying it at all but I’m a passionate guy, and I let my frustration get the best of me.”

On Sunday at Pocono, Bubba Wallace put together a much better race. He finished P10, earning 27 points in the standings and keeping him in contention to make the playoff field on points.

And he certainly seemed to be in a healthier place than a week ago, making a nice gesture to Blaney after his win.
