Bubba Wallace has epic response to getting booed during All-Star Race intros at North Wilkesboro
With the boobirds out in full force, Bubba Wallace is fighting back a little bit by giving a little bit of it back to the fans at North Wilkesboro. Every week it is the same thing for Wallace during intros, so for the NASCAR All-Star Race he decided to get a little creative and respond to the cascade of jeers.
There are drivers that can take things in stride and those that can’t. Bubba Wallace has learned slowly over time to let this stuff roll off his back. Besides, if you can’t win them over, why not give it back to them? You can say whatever about Wallace, but you can’t say he doesn’t know how to have fun.
We’re going to be seeing this reaction on the internet for a while. Wallace fans are going to have this one ready to go whenever they have to argue with others online about their favorite driver.
The response from Bubba Wallace is hilarious. What I love is when a heel like Wallace leans into the role of being the one fans love to hate. Drivers and athletes in general want to either hear cheers and applause or a huge round of boos. Either way, it is better than some polite claps.
Wallace was able to finish P5 in the Tyson 250 Truck Series race. With that extra time on the beat-up North Wilkesboro track, perhaps he will have a little something for tonight’s All-Star Race.

Bubba Wallace hoping to put on a show
Starting alongside Denny Hamlin on Row 5, Bubba Wallace has a top-10 starting position. He’s in a pretty good place to start this All-Star Race. But it won’t be easy. The short-track racing on the pavement from 1981 is going to give lots of drivers fits.
It does look like Wallace has some peace of mind. He’s having fun and if he’s having fun, I like his chances at a strong finish. Just based on what we saw in the Truck Series and in the All-Star Open, we know there will be lots of contact.
Given all of the work that went into making this race possible, whatever we get we should be more than happy with. No one thought this track would ever return and now we’ve almost completed the weekend in front of a PACKED house of fans.
Fans might not like it, but Bubba Wallace is going to have just as good of a chance as everyone else at this $1,000,000. Let’s see if he can get the hang of this track and move up to the front.
