Today, Morgan Freeman is set to give the four most famous words in NASCAR. He’s also cheering on Bubba Wallace. The famous actor is a big fan of the 23 team and got a special gift ahead of today’s race in Las Vegas.

Bubba Wallace was really great in practice. His qualifying lap didn’t translate. But when it came to those five, ten, and fifteen-lap averages he was among the best of the best. He’ll also have a superstar cheering him on from the stands.

Before today’s race, Wallace and Freeman shared a moment together. The famed actor served in the United States Air Force in the 1950s. Already wearing a No. 23 hat, Freeman was given a brand new hat to wear.

Now the actor has an official crew hat. Bubba Wallace is racing the Stealth Bomber paint scheme today. Could he sneak up on the competition?

This has to be a cool moment for Wallace and his team. Morgan Freeman is one of those figures that rises above the term “star.” He has lived multiple lifetimes over the course of his fantastic career.

As for Wallace, the attention turns to the track now. He has to figure out how to get that 23 car to the front and keep it there. This is the kind of track Wallace can win at and punch his ticket to the NASCAR Playoffs.

Bubba Wallace could use a win at Las Vegas

This season has gone well. It hasn’t been great, but there isn’t any reason to panic right now if you are on the 23 crew. Bubba Wallace has done well to finish races and pick up as many points as he can manage. That includes winning a stage at COTA.

When you look at the races coming up, the schedule does look good for Bubba. Intermediate tracks are all over the schedule in the next couple of months along with a date at Martinsville. Opportunity is there for the taking.

Of course, Las Vegas has a bit of a nasty history for Wallace. Most fans will think of his run-in with Kyle Larson in the fall of 2022. He has a chance to create a much better and happier memory at this track today.

All eyes will be on Christopher Bell as he attempts to win his fourth race in a row. There are many others in the field who believe they have cars capable of winning as well. We are close to going racing in Las Vegas.
