Bubba Wallace trolls haters, puts himself on NASCAR’s ‘Mt. Rushmore’

Always one to poke fun at his haters, Bubba Wallace has really outdone himself this time around. He has a great new cover photo on X/Twitter. When it comes to the Mount Rushmore of NASCAR, who would you include?
There are three clear GOATs of NASCAR. They come from three different eras, and the evidence is undeniable. Richard Petty, The King. Dale Earnhardt, The Intimidator. Jimmie Johnson, Superman. All are seven-time champions.
So, who goes in that fourth spot? Jeff Gordon? Cale Yarborough? David Pearson? Kyle Busch? No, no, no… William Darrell “Bubba” Wallace Jr. That’s who.
A fan made this image as a joke, and Bubba liked it so much he had to use it. Now, it is his banner photo on X/Twitter. Perfect.
I know that Bubba Wallace doesn’t think he’s the fourth-best driver ever in NASCAR history. But this is hilarious. In an era where fans get so upset about boring, plain drivers, Wallace keeps things fresh.
You are getting everything with Bubba. Much of the time, he wears his heart on his sleeve. Then there are times when he wears a poker face, keeps media answers short and simple. Either way, you’re more than likely going to hear exactly what he thinks.

Petty, Earnhardt, Johnson, and Wallace. That’s your NASCAR Mt. Rushmore, folks.
Bubba Wallace coming off back-to-back P3 finishes
Right now, things are going well for Bubba Wallace. He is eighth in points and is coming off two P3 finishes in a row at Homestead and Martinsville. Going to Darlington, he should be confident that he will show speed once again and be competitive.
Drivers say it all the time. To win races, you have to run up front. With more speed early in the season, and the third most stage points, Wallace has started to run up front. That first win since 2022 feels like it is right around the corner.
This weekend’s Goodyear 400 is going to be a big test. These intermediate tracks are where Wallace and his team have to maximize their potential. Make the most of these opportunities. Last fall, Wallace won the pole for the Southern 500. Can he start on the front row at Darlington again?
Any win would be welcomed by Bubba Wallace. However, a win at Darlington would give him legitimacy. The Lady in Black does not let just anybody win, you have to earn it.
