You know when Bubba Wallace is feeling good because he usually has some kind of fun video posted on his Twitter. This week, Wallace took a playful shot at Joey Logano after the Team Penske driver went off on the NASCAR safety crew at Pocono.

For those that didn’t see it, Logano was caught on his onboard cam at Pocono letting off on the tow and safety crew. It wasn’t just a little rant, it was an expletive-filled video and it was hilarious.

Now, NASCAR fans and divers like Bubba Wallace have a fun audio clip to make videos like the one below.

It looks like Bubba Wallace was having fun this week. Heading into Richmond, a little go-kart practice can’t hurt. Let’s just hope he has a better crew helping him this weekend than he did in the video.

Joey Logano is never going to escape that audio of him yelling. It is the perfect example of his “I flip a switch” attitude that he’s admitted to over the years. It’s almost like it wasn’t the Logano that we all see wek in and week out.

However, behind the wheel, these drivers have a lot on the line. They put themselves at risk. You can understand some of that frustration in the context of a 400 mile long race.

Bubba Wallace leads playoff push on the bubble

Heading into Richmond, Bubba Wallace leads the bubble drivers in points. He had a great day at Pocono to put himself 27 points above the cutline. Michael McDowell sits in 16th in that last playoff spot with just 17 points in the green.

So, if you’re Wallace, you have to feel good about your performance. Richmond is a different story, though.

In 10 attempts at the track, Wallace has never finished in the top-10. In fact, his best finish was P12 back in 2019 with Richard Petty Motorsports. One thing that the 23XI Racing driver has going for him, is his restarts.

This season, Bubba Wallace is one of the best, if not the best, drivers on the restarts. He picks up spots on the track and maintains his spot better than almost every other driver.

Earlier this season, Wallace finished P22 and led one single lap during green flag pit stops. He’s going to hope for a career-best weekend at the short track. He definitely doesn’t want to lose his ground on the rest of the bubble drivers.
