Bubba Wallace trolls Kentucky with Zakai Zeigler meme flipping them off logo

NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace is a huge Tennessee fan. So, after his Tennessee Volunteers advanced to the Elite Eight on Friday night in the 2025 NCAA Tournament, he had to rub it in. So, Wallace posted a graphic of Zakai Zeigler flipping off the Kentucky logo.
The NCAA Tournament is where your stars need to shine the brightest and Zakai Zeigler and Chaz Lanier did just that on Friday evening. Lanier pumped in 17 points and grabbed four rebounds. Zeigler poured in 18 points and dished out 10 assists, giving him a double-double.
Both players have led the Volunteers for much of the 2024-2025 season. It’s only fitting that two of their biggest stars helped to propel them to the Elite Eight, where they’ll be just one win away from the Final Four.
Zeigler finished 5 of 13 from the field and two of six from beyond-the-arc. He also grabbed one rebound and one steal. Lanier was just one of six from three-point range, but hit 7 of his 16 shots from the field. Jordan Gainey pumped in 16 points for the Volunteers, drilling six of 12 shots from the field. Tennessee big man Felix Okpara grabbed 11 rebounds and one block, doing the dirty work for the Vols.

Tennessee dominated Kentucky on the glass, 34-24. The Volunteers only connected on 5 of 19 shots from beyond-the-arc (26.3%). But they managed to connect on 29 of 57 shots from the field (50.9%). Kentucky hit six of their 15 shots from deep (40%), while hitting 25 of 51 shots from the field (49.0%). The Wildcats were led by Lamont Butler, who had 18 points, six rebounds, and three assists.
Zeigler and Tennessee will face off against the Houston Cougars in the Elite Eight, battling for the right to punch their tickets to the Final Four. We should have some of the best games of the season in the next few days.
