Today at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a little special for NASCAR with the solar eclipse. Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick had fun viewing it. NASCAR teams and LVMS itself had glasses on hand. Drivers, teams, crew members, and media have been taking in the rare phenomenon.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway has the lights on in case it gets too dark. There should be a “ring of fire” effect when the eclipse is complete. It will be about an 80% eclipse, which is significant. Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick both had their glasses on hand to watch as the eclipse began.

During practice, Wallace and Reddick are going to have to deal with the eclipse. It should be at its height sometime around Group A qualifying. So keep an eye out for that as you watch the broadcast.

The NBC broadcast showed viewers the eclipse. At the end, you can catch the 23XI Racing teammates joking around and viewing the eclipse before practice.

While the eclipse has come nearly to an end, it was a fun moment for NASCAR. When you get to do cool things like race or practice and qualify under an eclipse, that is fun. Fans enjoy it, and it’s a little trivia question for the future.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is going to be a race Bubba Wallace can contend in. Tyler Reddick will also be in contention as he tries to get to the Championship 4.

Bubba Wallace, Tyler Reddick show off with new paint schemes

When you come to Las Vegas, you have to dazzle and put on a show. These 23XI Racing drivers are coming with two new paint schemes. Both earned their way on our top-5 list this week. With Roku joining DoorDash for Wallace and Jordan Brand returning again for Reddick.

Las Vegas is a good track for Bubba Wallace. He can now come in and play playoff spoiler. Take an automatic spot in the Championship 4 from someone else who is in the playoffs still. Finishing on a high note and getting a win is the goal now for the 23XI Racing team. Not much different than it has before the last couple of months in the season.

As for Tyler Reddick, he is hoping that his 45 car is faster than the 23 car – and everyone else. Reddick has a real shot in these first two races to get a win and advance to Phoenix. He can do it at Martinsville, too. However, it feels like these first two races are his best shot at making his first championship race.

We’ll see who hits the jackpot in the desert on Sunday. Could it be either of these 23XI Racing drivers?
