Busch Light to become Ross Chastain's primary sponsor in 2024
NASCAR Cup Series driver Ross Chastain will have a new primary sponsor for the 2024 season. Busch Light, a longtime fixture in the sport, announced that it will sponsor the driver next year.
The announcement comes as Anheuser-Busch and Trackhouse Racing reached a multi-year agreement. Busch Light previously sponsored NASCAR veteran Kevin Harvick and the No. 4 car.
Harvick announced he is retiring following the conclusion of the 2023 season.
“Ross has already accomplished so much in his career and we’re so proud an iconic brand like Busch Light sees his commitment not only to the sport but to his fans,” Trackhouse founder Justin Marks said, per the Associated Press. “It’s been Trackhouse’s goal from Day 1 to build something special and different, something that resonates with the fans and partners in NASCAR. For Busch Light to recognize this and commit to the vision is both humbling and inspiring.”
Busch Light’s relationship with NASCAR has spanned over four decades. This is the latest sponsorship announcement for the beer company.
“We’ve activated many different types of programs with our sponsorship through the years, and we’re thrilled to team up with Trackhouse Racing and Ross Chastain,” said Krystyn Stowe, head of marketing for the Busch brand at Anheuser-Busch.
Chastain ranks fifth in NASCAR Cup Series standings
As the regular season winds down, Chastain finds himself in a great position with the playoffs around the corner. Following Sunday’s race in Atlanta, he sits at fifth in the Cup Series points standings.

Chastain recently claimed his first victory of the season at Nashville Superspeedway, winning the Ally 400 and securing his spot in NASCAR’s playoffs. Although he had been running strong all season, he hadn’t earned a victory until a few weeks ago.
Through 19 races, Chastain has driven the No. 1 car to eight top-10 finishes, which includes six inside the top-five. But he hasn’t driven well in the two races since his win in Nashville.
Chastain finished 22nd in the Chicago Street Race and 35th in Atlanta on Sunday. Although fifth is a great spot in the Cup Series standings, Chastain could be in an even better spot had it not been for poor finishes each of the past two weekends.
He’ll look to get back inside the top 10 this weekend as NASCAR heads to New Hampshire Motor Speedway for a July 16 event. The Crayon 301 begins at 2:30 p.m. ET with coverage on USA.
