Calvin Ridley expresses frustration with Will Levis, Titans offense in NSFW rant
Tennessee Titans star wideout Calvin Ridley was frustrated following the team’s loss to the Indianapolis Colts. And he wasn’t shy about voicing his frustrations when he answered questions with reporters in the locker room. Ridley was frustrated with his targets coming late in the game, as opposed to the entire game.
“I need some in the beginning of the f***ing game. S**t is getting crazy for me.” It’s easy to see why Ridley is frustrated, he had eight targets on Sunday for zero yards. He had one carry for nine yards. Clearly, he needs to be a focal point of the Titans’ offensive attack considering the amount of money they paid him in the offseason.
Here is the video of him speaking with reporters.
They’ll have to figure out ways for Will Levis to get him the football. And if he can’t, well, it’s time to get someone else in there. And fast.
According to NextGenStats tracking, Ridley had eight targets on 21 routes, for a total of 145 targeted air yards. This is the first time in Titans/Oilers franchise history that a player had 8 or more targets and zero catches and zero receiving yards in a game. It’s only the 13th time in NFL history that a player has had such a game.

The Titans inked Ridley to a four-year deal worth $92 million, including $50 million guaranteed. His production has come nowhere near matching that amount of money this season. So far, he’s hauled in nine catches for 141 yards and one touchdown.
A first-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft out of Alabama, Ridley was selected by the Atlanta Falcons, where he became a star wide receiver, being named Second-Team All-Pro in 2020. However, he was suspended for the entire 2022 season due to gambling. That came while he was away from Atlanta in 2021, dealing with personal matters. Amid that suspension, Atlanta traded Ridley to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Last season, after his break from the sport, Calvin Ridley had 76 receptions on 136 targets for 1016 yards and eight touchdowns.
