WATCH: Cameron Dicker makes game-winning field goal in Chargers debut
Former Texas kicker Cameron Dicker just capped off an incredible week. The LA Chargers signed him earlier this week to their practice squad and then activated him for today’s game against the Atlanta Falcons. It was then up to him to get the job done today for his new team – and did he ever.
Dicker went perfect on field goals and extra points today in his first appearance with his new team. That stat line even included the winning kick for LA in Mercedez-Benz Stadium today.

Dicker is in his first year in the pros after four seasons with the Longhorns. However, he has already made an impression early with two different franchises. The undefeated Philadelphia Eagles signed Dicker earlier this season. He appeared in their Week 5 win over the Cardinals where he hit a game-winning kick too. The Chargers picked him up shortly after Philly released him and he has now saved the day for them too just four weeks later.
Some kickers don’t get to nail to winning kicks for one team in the NFL. Dicker getting to do so twice in one season, let alone his first campaign, in the first week he has been with both his teams is fairly remarkable. If that clutch gene keeps showing up, he won’t be spending any more time looking to get signed by a roster.
