Canadian NASCAR fans unable to watch Xfinity race at COTA due to March Madness coverage

For those NASCAR fans over the northern border in Canada, you will notice changes to your COTA TV schedule this weekend. Both the Xfinity Series and Cup Series races have been moved to alternate channels for March Madness coverage.
Those who watch on regular TV will be able to get the Cup Series on CTV2. TSN is moving the Xfinity Series to TSN+. That is the big change that will affect fans in Canada. If you don’t do streaming, then you are out of luck. Or, it might be time to start streaming.
TSN made the announcement on social media. Many fans are not happy about missing out on the Focused Health 250. This is going to be a really good one, too.
As for the Cup Series, it will depend on where you are in Canada. If you have access to CTV2 then you’re in luck. If not, well, not so much.
The Xfinity Series race is going to be stacked with talent. We are going to see some of the best road course racers in all of NASCAR take to the COTA track. Kyle Lason and Ty Gibbs. AJ Allmendinger and Shane van Gisbergen, both full-time in Xfinity, are Cup Series winners.
That’s not to mention the other great talent in the Xfinity Series like Cole Custer and Sam Mayer who know their way around the road courses as well.

Kyle Larson wins NASCAR Xfinity Series pole at COTA
The NASCAR weekend at COTA has been fast this year. There are several areas of the truck that have been repaved. That has given teams a little more speed. So, it’s no surprise that we saw the track record fall for all three series in qualifying.
Larson was able to win the Xfinity Series pole with a 2:12.08 lap. He beat out those talented racers I mentioned before. However, things aren’t going to start well for Larson tonight in the Focused Health 250.
Due to a changed brake rotor, Larson is going to start from the rear. Those fans in Canada will want to find a way to watch this race because there could be fireworks. Getting to see these drivers go road course racing in the Xfinity Series package, which puts on a great show at these tracks, is going to be special.
NASCAR at COTA has become quite the event. Everyone wants to race in NASCAR at this track. Former F1, IndyCar, IMSA drivers, and more have tried their hands at the track in recent years. Should be another fun weekend of racing in Texas.
