After almost winning at Dover, Carson Kvapil is returning to the NASCAR Xfinity Series for even more action in the JR Motorsports 88. Kvapil is one of the best young prospects in stock car racing and has proven it time and time again.

Carson Kvapil finished P4 at Martinsville and P2 at Dover. He had never raced at Dover prior to that weekend and made himself look like an old pro with how well he handled the Monster Mile.

Now Kvapil has announced six more races for this season and he’s got sponsorship, too. Kvapil will race at Darlington, New Hampshire, Indianapolis, Michigan, Darlington-II, and Talladega-II.

Clarience Technologies will be the primary sponsor for the six races.

Carson Kvapil is racing in the CARS Tour in the Late Model Stock division. He is the two-time defending champion in the series and is hoping to win a third this year. With how well he performed at Martinsville and Dover, he’s likely not going to run another full-time season in the CARS Tour.

While I think Dale Jr. will keep him with JR Motorsports as long as possible, there will be plenty of suitors for Kvapil’s services if and when he’s a free agent.

Carson Kvapil heading to Darlington this weekend

To start the new stretch of races, Carson Kvapil is heading to Darlington. I do not believe he will have a throwback paint scheme, but that’s alright. The important thing is what he does on the track, not what his car looks like.

Kvapil has grown up racing short tracks. Dover was the most unique, and likely, the fastest track he’s ever raced on. Still, he had a shot to win on the final restart. Going to Darlington I expect him to learn slowly and then work his way up like he did in the other two races.

Patience is the name of the game in Late Model Stock racing. Kvapil has lots of it. He has no problem running laps and learning the best path on the track. Darlington is not the easiest track to race, but I think that will just play into his strengths.

If Carson Kvapil manages to avoid wrecks and gets himself to the final 40 laps of the race on Saturday, I think he’s got another top-5 finish coming his way. He’s incredibly talented and this is just the beginning.
