CBS Sports forecasts Jalyn Armour-Davis role for Ravens in 2022
Jalyn Armour-Davis is looking to take everything he learned at Alabama and find success in the NFL.
Evidently, some experts believe the former Crimson Tide star can be a sleeper play-maker for the Baltimore Ravens. While searching for players selected after the first round in the 2022 NFL Draft who can make immediate impacts, Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports identified Armour-Davis.
“Now, because Armour-Davis only started one full season at Alabama, that may lead to a steeper learning curve for him as a rookie,” wrote Trapasso. “But, for him, the Ravens have a nice blend of need at outside corner and experience ahead of him who can get him up to speed rather quickly.
“Plus, the Ravens are going to play plenty of press man in Mike Macdonald’s defense, which is where the former big-time recruit excels thanks to his powerful feet and downfield speed.”
Over the past couple seasons, the Ravens have been one of the top drafting teams in the entire league, finding extraordinary value in the later rounds of the event. If Armour-Davis can fulfill his immense potential, perhaps general manager Eric DeCosta has found another gem later in the NFL Draft.
Nevertheless, Jalyn Armour-Davis brings a winning pedigree and immense skill to the next level. Now, it’s up to the Baltimore Ravens to unlock it.

More on Jalyn Armour-Davis, Baltimore Ravens
Moreover, the Baltimore Ravens selected Jalyn Armour-Davis with the No. 119 selection in the fourth round in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Armour-Davis began his collegiate career in 2019, and played in just four games over the course of his first two years at Alabama. This past season, he played in 11 games and totaled 32 tackles, one tackle for loss, three interceptions, and four passes defended.
Continuing, Armour-Davis has a ton of potential, as he came to Alabama as a four-star recruit, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average.
Even though he only started one year at Alabama, Armour-Davis now has the opportunity to prove his worth at the NFL level after being taken in the draft. He is a good tackler with good speed, and he should be able to contribute at some point relatively quickly.
