CeeDee Lamb assesses shoulder injury ahead of Week 10 matchup vs. Eagles
Bigger storylines came out of Atlanta than just the Dallas Cowboys losing a third straight game. Injuries plagued the offense and some big names. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was one of them, being visibly in pain with a shoulder injury late in the fourth quarter. Questions about his status moving forward were immediately asked.
No answers have officially been provided but Lamb assessed where he stands on Thursday. The last few days have been big for him and was even listed as limited on Wednesday’s injury report. For now, all signs point to him playing against Philadelphia in a massive NFC East showdown.
“My shoulder is much better than it was on Sunday, I’ll tell you that,” Lamb said via Jon Machota of The Athletic. “I feel like I’ve taken a big step these last 2-3 days. I’m good. I was out there running today.”
Machota added more context at the end of his tweet, saying Lamb is fighting through pain more than anything. Nothing protective will be on his shoulder when lining up against the Eagles’ defensive backs.

“He said the injury is more about dealing with pain,” Machota said. “His range of motion is all there. He has no plans of wearing a protective brace Sunday.”
Lamb showed pain even when taking the slightest hit against Atlanta. Wide open on a two-point conversion, somebody barely clipped him after the catch was made. An instance wince came from the wide receiver before heading back to the sideline.
He will be hoping to stay pain-free against Philadelphia or at the very least, play through it all. Lamb will be without quarterback Dak Prescott due to his own injury. Cooper Rush has taken over as the Dallas starting quarterback.
