CeeDee Lamb injury update: Jerry Jones gives 'hopeful' update on Cowboys WR
CeeDee Lamb is dealing with a right AC joint issue with his shoulder. He’ll have an MRI, but Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was hopeful Lamb can continue to play since he returned to action vs. Atlanta, according to Todd Archer of ESPN. The Cowboys continue to struggle and currently sit at 3-5 overall, which ranks them 3rd in the NFC East.
Troy Aikman ripped the Cowboys and CeeDee Lamb
With all that’s going wrong with the Dallas Cowboys, Troy Aikman is putting a portion of it on their receiving corps.
While on 96.7 The Ticket, Aikman went in on the work of Dallas’ wideouts, specifically their route running. The “lazy” effort on them along with other aspects has led to what he sees as a pass game that’s not on the same page. That includes that of their All-Pro receiver too in CeeDee Lamb.

This season, Lamb has hauled in 53 catches for 660 yards and four touchdowns.
“I think the routes are terrible. I think they run terrible routes. And I’ve thought that beyond this year,” Aikman said. “I think CeeDee (Lamb) has got to improve in his route running.”
“As a quarterback, if you’re not certain where guys are going to be consistently, it’s hard to play the position. That’s what I see,” said Aikman. “I see guys lazy coming off the line of scrimmage. Sometimes they run. Usually, if they do, it’s because they’re anticipating they’re going to get the football on that play but, if they’re not, they don’t and it all ties together. I’m not impressed with that part of it.”
