CeeDee Lamb invokes Big 12 with hilarious answer on chaos vs. Commanders
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb compared the team’s wild victory over the Washington Commanders on Sunday to the Big 12 Conference. Patrik Walker of DallasCowboys.com asked Lamb if he had ever been in a game as crazy as Sunday’s, and Lamb did not hesitate to say yes.
“Yeah. I played in the Big 12,” Lamb replied. The Big 12 is known for its wild games, and Lamb was part of his share while playing for the Oklahoma Sooners. From 2017 to 2019, Lamb became one of the top wide receivers in college football. 2019 was his best season, catching 62 passes for 1,327 yards and 14 touchdowns. His production led to him being named a consensus All-American.
During his time with the Dallas Cowboys, Lamb has become a superstar receiver, being named to the Pro Bowl three times and the All-Pro Team twice. The Cowboys are struggling to find wins consistently this season, but Lamb has been productive, catching 77 passes for 841 yards and four touchdowns through 11 games.
On Sunday, Lamb caught 10 passes for 67 yards in the Cowboys’ 34-26 victory over the Commanders. The game was tied at three at halftime, but both teams exploded in the fourth quarter as the Cowboys scored 24 points and the Commanders scored 17.

CeeDee Lamb wants Cowboys to ‘play together’ going forward
Last week, Lamb talked about how the Cowboys can turn things around amid their offensive struggles. “Obviously, everybody is looking to embarrass us, they have their opportunity, when they do, they try to put us out, Lamb said, per DallasCowboys.com. “We had so much success over the last three years as far as in the regular season… for us, we’ve got to find ways to gel together, play together and finish this thing out.”
Lamb later added: “I feel like the defense in the first half played lights out. And quite honestly, I take it real personal for us to be the reason that we’re really losing in these blowout games because when you look at it, granted they’re giving up a lot of points, but bro, we’re scoring nine points a game, and everybody should take accountability in that, myself included.”
