The Dallas Cowboys will sport their color rush uniforms this week – which just so happens to be the favorite combination of star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. Lamb revealed that the color rush uniform is his favorite, although the team has only worn it one other time so far this season.

Dallas wore the white/navy combo with the white helmet in the Week 6 victory over the L.A. Chargers. The Cowboys escaped the road game with a 20-17 victory. Now, perhaps the uniform can help them “look good, feel good, play good” against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night.

Lamb, in particular, has played very well for the Cowboys in recent weeks. He’s posted 100+ receiving yards in five of the last seven games. He leads the Dallas offense with 90 receptions for 1,182 receiving yards and eight total touchdowns.

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott praised Lamb’s commitment to excellence this week ahead of the big rivalry game.

“That guy does everything the right way. He’s just reaping the rewards for all the work that he’s put in this thing, our trust, the way that he attacks and approaches this game,” Prescott said. “… We both are conquerors. We want to overcome whatever it is, whatever that situation or problem is. … That guy’s a playmaker and he wants to make plays. I’m always going to want a guy around that’s asking to make more plays than the opposite.”

Through the first 12 games of the season, Lamb is trailing only Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill in total yards. Meanwhile, Eagles receiver A.J. Brown trails his Cowboys rival by just 18 yards heading into Sunday night’s game.

Cowboys enter competitive stretch

The Dallas Cowboys have the opportunity once again to catch their NFC East rivals this week in their Sunday night matchup. Head coach Mike McCarthy doesn’t need any reminders of the stakes involved. After four straight wins, he’s eager to keep the Cowboys moving in the right direction.

“We wanna get to this 10th win,” McCarthy said, via DallasCowboys.com. “We understand where they are.”

“It’s the Cowboys [versus] the Eagles,” he added. “I don’t think you have to say anything more on that.”

The challenge doesn’t let up after Week 14, however. Coming off of a stretch that included games against several teams below .500 (Carolina, Washington, NYG), Dallas will face the 6-6 Bills, then two of the hottest teams in the league – the Dolphins and Lions, both at 9-3.
