The Dallas Cowboys released their Friday injury report and they got some great news on corner Trevon Diggs and star receiver CeeDee Lamb. Both players practiced in full on Friday, which means barring any sort of unforeseen setbacks, they’ll be ready to go for Sunday’s game.

Lamb had plenty of people concerned when he didn’t practice on Wednesday because of his ankle. But he quickly put those concerns aside when he said he was going to be fine. The star receiver was limited in practice on Thursday, and got in a full session on Friday. It’s a sigh of relief for Cowboys fans, as Lamb is one of the most dominant receivers in the league and without a doubt, their best player on the offensive side of the ball.

Trevon Diggs had been dealing with a foot injury. Like Lamb, he didn’t practice at all on Wednesday, got in a limited session on Thursday, and a full practice on Friday. He’s been quite the feast or famine corner over the years, but has also proven to be a real gamechanger at several points of his career. His best season came in 2021, when he snatched 11 interceptions. Diggs followed that up in 2022 with three more interceptions. In 2024, he’s snatched one interception with two pass deflections so far.

Others on the Cowboys-Ravens injury report

The good news for the Cowboys is they only have two players questionable on their injury report–defensive tackle Mazi Smith and tight end John Stephens. Smith has been dealing with a back issue that’s bothering him and Stephens has a hamstring injury.

Another key player on the offensive side of the ball is Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson. He’s been dealing with a knee issue. He practiced in limited capacity on Wednesday and Thursday, while being a full participant on Friday. That’s big news for Dallas, as he’s one of their biggest offensive weapons.

The Ravens have been dealing with a number of injuries of their own with one of the biggest being to first round corner Nate Wiggins. Wiggins looks exceptional in the preseason, before getting injured. Recently he was in a car accident, where he had a neck injury and a concussion.

He was listed as did not practice on Wednesday, practiced in a limited capacity on Thursday, and was limited on Friday. Wiggins has a bright future ahead if he can stay healthy. He’s just had a bit of bad luck early, especially with the car accident.
