In a surprising crossover, Celine Dion was in attendance for Tuesday’s TGL regular-season finale. During the match between Jupiter Links and Atlanta Drive G.C., ESPN’s Marty Smith found her in the stands to interview her about her golf game.

He had to go back, though, because he forgot an important question. Smith asked Dion which of her songs would best sum up her game. The crowd at SoFi Center weighed in with their ideas, but Dion chose one of her biggest tracks.

As she sang “My Heart Will Go On,” Smith joined in. It turned into one of the top moments of the inaugural TGL season. Of course, Dion put a golf spin on it, changing the words to, “My ball will go on.”

Celine Dion was among the star-studded crowd for TGL on Tuesday night, along with NFL stars Josh Allen and Sam Darnold as the league ended its regular season. As it turns out, she played golf at one point, and her children all play the game. That added to the special nature of attending TGL, and she also pointed out how great the fans are at SoFi Center.

“It’s pretty impressive,” Dion said of TGL. “We’ve been watching on TV. I’m very proud. I have my three kids here with me today. The three of them are golfers. They’re very passionate about the game. I used to play golf when I had time. Then I had kids, then I took a little break and here I am. But it’s a great passion, as a mother, to see my own children to play this game that, I think, has so much [etiquette]. … It’s such a beautiful and a great game.

“You can be in competition with yourself. You can play with your best friend, you can play with your mom, you can play with your neighbor and it’s a game that doesn’t have like, ‘Oh, I can’t play with you because you haven’t played in so long.’ It’s such a beautiful game, and to be here in this TGL environment, is magical.”

TGL is wrapping up its inaugural season as Tiger Woods’ Jupiter Links team went against Lucas Glover’s Atlanta Drive team. Atlanta is heading to the playoffs, which begin next week, while Jupiter Links and Boston Common are both on the outside looking in. That means TGL’s two founders – Woods and Rory McIlroy – will both miss the postseason.
