Chase Briscoe gets revenge on Christopher Bell, spoils 2025 Chili Bowl Nationals announcement
Remember when Christopher Bell ruined the Chase Briscoe to Joe Gibbs Racing announcement over the summer? Well, Briscoe sure does. Now he’s gotten his revenge on his new NASCAR teammate.
Chase Briscoe went on social media today and let it be known that Christopher Bell is racing at Chili Bowl Nationals. The Oklahoma native returns to the biggest racing event in the state in 2025.
While Bell has yet to make an official announcement, there is a No. 81 and 87 car entered under his sprint car team, CB Industries. As of right now, there is no driver named for either of those cars on the entry list.
Could that be the one C-Bell is racing at the Chili Bowl?
“Guess I’ll finally get him back for this,” Briscoe wrote on X/Twitter with the video of Bell ruining his big news this year, “pumped to see [Christopher Bell] back at [Chili Bowl Nationals] this year.”
Of course, this is all in good fun. Christopher Bell has apologized many times publicly for his mistake in June. But I’m glad that Chase Briscoe could get a little bit of revenge. He may have just broken one of the bigger sprint car stories of the month, to be honest.
If this is all true and Bell is racing in Tulsa, it’s going to be awesome. Kyle Larson, Kyle Busch, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. are also entered into the event at the moment. We could possibly see Jesse Love race in the Chili Bowl again, he competed in it a year ago. Maybe Ty Gibbs decides to give it a try as he has taken an interest in dirt racing as well.

Christopher Bell vs. Kyle Larson at Chili Bowl Nationals
While it’s nice that those other NASCAR drivers are competing or could possibly compete at Chili Bowl Nationals, let’s be honest. Christopher Bell against Kyle Larson on dirt once again. It’s going to be must-watch.
I hope that Bell is able to pick it up again after a couple of years out of the dirt car. But if we get Bell and Larson together in some heat races it will be so fun to watch. If they both get to the finale, it’s going to be off-the-charts electric in that building.
I know, I’m overlooking dirt regulars. I’m probably overlooking Ricky Stenhouse Jr. as well. But the allure of a Bell vs. Larson matchup at any point in the Chili Bowl weekend is going to be what drives me to watch as much as possible.
Christopher Bell back in his Midget sprint car. He’s going back to Tulsa to race in the Chili Bowl. Kyle Larson is there. Corey Day will be there. Dirt fans, NASCAR fans, everyone has something or someone to root for in this event and that is why you should tune in.
FloRacing will have coverage of the Chili Bowl Nationals from January 13-18.
