Chase Elliott, Kenny Wallace admit they are jumping on the Taylor Swift 'bandwagon'

In the wild world of the Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift relationship, Chase Elliott and Kenny Wallace are interested. The current and former NASCAR drivers both have revealed in recent days that they are not afraid to jump on the bandwagon as everyone in the country has done.

Now, Chase Elliott and Kenny Wallace aren’t your usual Swifties, I’d say. However, if there is anything we have learned in the last month, Taylor Swift is inevitable. Given how she’s been all over the place in recent weeks, from TV to touring and social media – it makes sense.

Kenny is a fun guy, of course, he’s going to join in on the fun! Everyone knows that Herm isn’t the usual dude, but he likes to have fun.

“It’s fun, it’s good,” Wallace stated on his podcast, via USA.com. “I guess I could be a grumpy old man and be like, ‘Damn it. I’m tired of all this Taylor Swift stuff.’ But I can’t. You know why? Because it’s making everybody so happy.”

“As long as something makes everybody happy in a messed-up world right now. Things aren’t too great right now everywhere in everybody’s life. If it takes a girl who sings good music, and she fell in love with a football player, it don’t bother me. Hell, actually, maybe I’m a Swiftie.”

So, what about Chase Elliott? Well, he isn’t too far from the same conclusion either.

Chase Elliott thinks he’ll get on the bandwagon

There is a lot of talk about teams not promoting drivers and personalities being muted in NASCAR. Chase Elliott is the five-time Most Popular Driver. However, even he is lackluster at times on the mic or on social media.

A few weeks ago, Hendrick Motorsports had Elliott do one of those “Google search” videos. Showing what people are Googling about the NASCAR champion, Elliott was surprised.

“Is Chase Elliott a Swiftie?”

“You know, I am not really sure that I would consider myself a Swiftie, but I feel like I should get on the bandwagon,” said the 27-year-old in the YouTube video.

When you see all of the energy that Taylor Swift brings, it’s hard not to get caught up in it.

“I mean it looks like a lot of fun, and who doesn’t like Taylor Swift? So, I’m on board. Just hadn’t got out to a show yet.”

Let’s not forget Taylor Swift sang the National Anthem before a NASCAR race before. How about a Swift concert at the Chicago Street Race? Now I’m just being a bit unreasonable. Still, there is no doubt that the pop star has risen to a new level of fame.
