Chase Elliott, No. 9 team call out Ricky Stenhouse Jr. on radio after Atlanta wreck

A big wreck at the Ambetter Health 400 collected multiple drivers, with Chase Elliott and Brad Keselowski getting the worst of it after Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was involved in the initial contact.
Coming off a turn, Stenhouse went from the middle lane to the low side of the track trying to avoid a driver in front of him. Only, he hit Chase Briscoe‘s car and then pinballed back to the outside of the track.
He struck Chase Elliott there and the toe link for Elliott reportedly immediately gave way.
“The 47 put us in the f*****g wall,” one of Elliott’s crew members said, according to Jeff Gluck of The Athletic.
Chase Elliott replied shortly: “Bent that toe link and I couldn’t get it straight.”

The aftermath of the wreck also caught Corey LaJoie in it, though he hit the wall with his back bumper and didn’t appear to be all that worse for the wear. Still, it was an unfortunate incident that will cost a few of the drivers involved, starting with Chase Elliott.
Elliott did meet minimum speed after making repairs, according to NASCAR reporter Chris Knight.
Kyle Busch irate after Carson Hocevar move
The first stage in Atlanta went by fast. While there wasn’t a wreck there was a lot of hard racing between drivers like Kyle Busch and Carson Hocevar. In fact, the two Chevy NASCAR teammates had a little bit of bad blood after that opening stint.

Kyle Busch apparently didn’t take too kindly to Hocevar’s driving. He threatened to wreck him on the radio when talking to his crew chief and spotter.

And Kyle Busch let Carson Hocevar know how he felt, too.
“Go tell the 77 he’s done that same f*****g move 10 times,” Busch said. “I don’t care if I wreck the whole f*****g field, I’m over him. He’s a f*****g d*******g, I’m going to wreck his ass.”
Needless to say it’ll be interesting to see how both drivers like Chase Elliott and Kyle Busch, who might now have some bad blood, handle things going forward.
