After a fun and exciting 2023 NASCAR season, the fans have spoken and voted Chase Elliott as Most Popular Driver. The award is given out each year to the driver fans vote as their favorite. For five years prior to this season, Elliott remained undefeated, and he will remain undefeated for at least one more season.

As NASCAR celebrates Champion’s Week, this is one of the most coveted awards. All of the other ones for the most part have already been earned and handed out. However, the Most Popular Driver doesn’t know it until they hear their name called during the ceremony.

Kyle Busch evaluated his chances of upsetting Elliott prior to the awards ceremony. Rowdy thought it would be great, but wasn’t sure if he would be able to get over the hump. Turns out, he couldn’t do it this season.

Chase Elliott is NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver for the 2023 season. Chase may hold the premier title for another year, but two others earned similar honors within their respective lanes. Justin Allgaier took the Xfinity Series crown, and Hailie Deegan held it down in the Craftsman Truck Series.
