Chase Elliott will race special 'white-out' NAPA paint scheme for Busch Light Clash
How about this for some mid-week news, Chase Elliott is getting a white NAPA scheme just for the Busch Light Clash and you want to see it. In the past, I have been a vocal hater on alternate paint schemes for Elliott. However, this NASCAR season might be different.
The main NAPA Auto Parts scheme is pretty much an all-blue look with yellow highlights and lines here and there. However, this “white-out” scheme as I’m calling it, is simple and clean. Honestly, it could be a primary week in and out and fans would love it.
It will be a shame if we only get to see this design at the Busch Light Clash. I’d love to see this all-white look come out during a night race or two throughout the season.
Watch the Hendrick team put this look together a few weeks ahead of the season-opening exhibition.
The blue design and the white design this year are far better than the last two seasons in my opinion. In 2024, Chase Elliott has a pair of NAPA paint schemes that should stand out amongst the field.
This car is going to look so good on the track at the LA Coliseum.
Chase Elliott redemption season
No way to overlook the glaringly disappointing season in 2023 for Chase Elliott. While a lot of that had to do with his broken leg, Elliott just never got into a rhythm. Really, only half of Hendrick Motorsports was able to put together solid races week in and out.

For the 2024 season, Elliott has winning and redemption on his mind. He’s the 2020 Cup Series champion. He has to step things up and prove that he is still the same driver he was before the leg injury. While there have been some concerns over his offseason shoulder surgery and performance issues at the end of 2023, I don’t think it will follow him into the new year.
Elliott should be just fine to go by the start of the season. That was the timeline all along on his shoulder. Being 100% healthy is the top priority and that surgery was a big part of making that happen for Elliott.
The 2024 NASCAR schedule is hard. It is long and arduous. Drivers, even championship ones like Chase Elliott, have to stay focused. What are your expectations for Elliott and his team this season? Is it going to be another trip to the Championship 4?
